Blaze n’ Blues BBQ is family owned and operated. We originated in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA in 2011 as a food truck caterer who specializes in slow smoked barbecue. We opened inside Old Town Saloon in Laughlin, NV December of 2014. Chef Michael Frenes created our menu based on fresh ingredients and innovative ideas that give you a "Taste of Summer" all year long! At Blaze n’ Blues BBQ we use all natural meats and smoke them slow n’ low to perfection, our AWARD winning ribs fall right off the bone, our Angus beef patties are handmade and all of our veggies are organic! We make everything from scratch daily, including all dry rubs, marinades and sauces! You can dine in, take out, or allow us to cater your events!

Just love this place. Rustic honkie talk with a hidden gem -- the food is made with the best ingredients & plenty. Better come hungry -- lots of leftovers. We split pulled pick taquitos, fried mushrooms, homemade chips & shrimp street tacos. Prices are great, service is awesome & cannot beat the atmosphere.

Had another great dinner at Blaze n Blues last night. Tender fall off the bone baby back ribs, pulled pork, amazing homemade chips and fried dill pickles. So frikin good.

The definition of diamond in the rough. My husband and I have been to Laughlin a few times and we haven't been too impressed by the restaurants in the area. We came here and were blown away! I was kind of confused on how to get here because the signs for the Old Town Saloon don't clearly state that this BBQ spot is located inside the bar. We went in on a Wednesday afternoon. The bar wasn't very busy, we walked up to the little "hole in the wall" (literally) to order food. It took about 15min because there was an order in front of us, but it was absolutely worth the wait!! I got the pulled pork sliders and my husband got the tri-tip sliders. They were both so good we didn't want to share with each other. The presentation was great with a crispy pickle on top of each slider. Such a wonderful surprise eating here. The bartender was very friendly and the bar was a great atmosphere.

When we walked in it looked like a bar. We asked- where is the BBQ restaurant and they pointed to a walk up window inside the bar. Gotta say- we weren't too sure but owner assured us everything was prepared fresh. When they sold out of something for the day, that was it. We ordered full rack of baby back with fries and coleslaw. Husband and I were going to split it. Had a drink from the bar, played free pool (on Wednesdays) and waited for about 20 minutes for our food. It was EXCELLENT! My son and daughter in law ordered a BBQ pork sandwich and small order of baby backs with their fresh cut fries. We also had deep fried picked with jalapeño dipping sauce. You gotta try this place. Best food our entire 5 day trip! Perfect day at the lake ended with a perfect BBQ meal!!

Creating real smoked barbecue is a form of art. It’s about choosing the right woods for the best flavors and getting temperatures perfect. It takes long hours of perfect temperatures to get the melt in your mouth and fall off the bone quality our connoisseurs have come to love! With that said, we would like to remind our guest that we are not a BIG commercial kitchen, we are small mom and pop and pride ourselves in serving you the highest quality and freshest food.
All of our food is made daily from scratch and because of this there may be times we sell out of a menu item before the close of our business. The plus side to this is you are never receiving a pre-packaged, frozen or processed meal from Blaze n’ Blues BBQ.
